Need help with online auto quotes?

My auto insurance is expiring.

I'm looking for quotes online but I don't know how or where to search for the best deal.

I've tried going to farmers.com but the application process is very tedious...I would prefer to get all my quotes from one site. In the past, I've relied on auto insurance brokers but had to pay $200 in brokerage fees.

I don't care for well-known insurance providers. I want a legit company that will provide me with decent coverage for my 05 Corolla.

here's two comparison sites you can use

http://best-american-insurers-free-comparison.servicesarticles.com/a/1.html

http://gsx1.com/Car-Insurance/100.php

betw them they'll compare about 20 main carriers

I can probably assist you with getting several quotes, I just need to know what state you are located in. If you are interested, email me.

I would recommend Country Companies. You might also check out InsWeb.

you can try here: http://www.johnalsopinsurance.com/

Try esurance.com! Multiple companies quoted simultaneously!

Kathy,

I know the feeling because I don't like being spammed or telemarketed for years following a request. This might help:

A guy I ran into at my doctor's office yesterday gave me a flier for insurance and the rate was much lower than what I am paying today. Like about 250/year or so.

I got like 5 quotes and they tell you the lowest company out of them all. Three of them were lower than mine. Best is that the company itself doesn't sell the insurance; they just give you the info on who is the best price, so you know it is real. I would never use the numbers from a company that actually sells the insurance themselves, as I really don't trust their numbers are reality (I am a skeptic, if you haven't noticed).

Some of the quotes you get are from:

Progressive

Esurance

The Hartford

Safeco Insurance

Travelers… and some others.

Here's the link to the website on the flyer:

You have to enter the code he gave me (he obviously gets some sort of credit for it. I tried to do this without the code and they wouldn't let me....said that since they don't advertise anywhere this was the only way they operate - they said the insurance was not going to be any higher going through this guy than if I could have gotten around him). If you knew someone else that sold this insurance I suppose you could ask them for their code so they would get the credit. The funny thing is the guy doesn't ever deal with you, just gets the credit I guess.

Or you can call their number at 877-855-8111and give them the info:

or website and punch it in.

Hope this helps!
